From the collection of Johnny Muffler who was in the Navy during WWII and also kept all the clocks wound and ticking at the White House for 54 years.
Here's a chance to own a piece of history.
This Seth Thomas clock includes the backing plate and hardware to attach to the wall or other solid surface.
Unlike many others out there, this one has ALL the parts included and is keeping time!
There is a round original felt pad that goes between the back plate and the clock.
Clock is Nickel plated brass.
Size is shown via ruler measurement in photo. 7.5 inches across.
I'm not sure if the key that was in the box is the original key,
but it works fine to set and wind the clock.
There is a fast/slow setting on the back which I adjusted when I took it out of the box and it's been running great all day long.
I did not have it serviced or polished as I know some prefer the more vintage look.
