    Each Silverback contains 1/1000th oz 0.999 pure silver.  The laminated layers surrounding the silver keep it safe from tarnishing as well as everyday wear and tear. Only 100,000 have been minted as a 'proof of concept' to do with silver what Goldbacks have done for gold.  This futuristic design required entirely new technology to be developed by the engineers over at Valaurum who came up with a proprietary and complex recipe which protects the pure silver inside each note making for a durable product that could one day be ideal for bartering and or collecting.
