Pair Antique Daggers Length 16" Brass bird handle with Provenance & Photos

This sale is for 2 brass handled daggers that came from the collection of George Welch, internationally known authority and collector of Japanese swords.  George spent most of his life collecting and acquiring knowledge of Samurai swords, wood blocks and Asian antiques.  One of the photos shows George holding one of these daggers. The seller was told that these daggers hung on the wall behind George's desk at his home. George Welch passed away in 2013, and his large collection was auctioned off at a later time.  Both daggers measure about 16 inches in length and each weighs 1 1/2 pounds. These pieces are being sold as a collection and will not be separated.  Study the pictures carefully as there are no returns.  This seller does not ship internationally.
