2 Vintage Finished Framed Crewel Embroidery Daisies and Roses - MCM Pair
Originally a kit in 1980's from The Creative Circle called Daisies and Roses. This was designed by Eugena Parfionow and it is made in the USA - kit reference number is 0225. The embroidery is done using the crewel technique giving it a unique texture and depth. Both are stitched with 100% Persian wool yarn onto cotton/poly fabric. These finished pieces are in frames ready for display. Perfect for anyone who appreciates handmade needle crafted items. The frames are identical and measure approximately 6 3/8" wide x 8 3/8" tall. The framed fabric opening measures approximately 5" wide x 7 " tall. Some vintage wear on the frames and some minor discoloration on the fabric. Other than that, they are still very nice, and both are well-made designs.
